My dog loves the raw food!

I ordered the Chicken Raw Dog Food for my picky eater, and he absolutely devoured it! I've tried so many other brands, but this is the first one he's truly enjoyed. It arrived frozen solid, and the packaging was great. I'm so happy I found Rude Dog Food. I will definitely be ordering again!

Good value for a first-timer

I was looking to switch my dog to raw food but didn't want to spend a fortune right away. I saw their introductory offer for the Raw Puppy Food and decided to go for it. The price was really good for the amount of food I got. The quality seems top-notch, and my puppy is thriving on it. It felt like a smart purchase and definitely worth the money.

Great food, good service

I decided to try the Custom Dog Food Box after reading about the benefits of raw feeding. Ordering was straightforward on their website; it was easy to select different proteins and quantities. My order, which included Turkey Raw Dog Food and some Natural Dog Treats, arrived in about 4 days, all still perfectly frozen. I had a question about portion sizes, and their customer support responded to my email within a few hours with helpful advice. My dog has been eating the food for a week now, and his coat already looks shinier. The treats were a big hit too. The only minor thing was that one of the food containers had a slightly cracked lid, but it didn't affect the food itself. Overall, a really positive experience.

Decent raw food option

I purchased the Beef Raw Dog Food and some Liver Treats. The food seemed fresh, and my dog took to it well. The delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, which was a bit longer than I expected for frozen goods, but everything was still frozen solid when it arrived, so no harm done. I thought the pricing was a little on the higher side compared to some local options, but the convenience of having it delivered to my door was worth it. The packaging was robust, and the instructions for defrosting were clear. I appreciate that it's human-grade. I might try a subscription next time to see if there's a better deal.

Does Rude Dog Food do any first-time buyer discounts or like, introductory offers?

B Beth 1 month ago

Yup, I got 20% off my first subscription box when I signed up last year. They usually have something like that going on.

M Megan T. 1 month ago

Yeah, check their website. They almost always have a new customer offer, usually for a percentage off your first order or subscription. Sometimes it's a specific link you need to use.

How long does the food stay good in the freezer once it arrives? Trying to figure out how much to order at once.

D Dana 2 months ago

Mine usually lasts a good 6 months in the freezer without issues. Just keep it sealed.

Afaik, it's pretty standard for raw food. Several months, at least. Just check the packaging for the exact 'best by' date once you get it, but generally, it's good for a while if it stays frozen solid.

My dog has allergies, so I need grain-free and hypoallergenic options. Does Rude Dog Food have those?

R Raj 2 months ago

They do! Look for their grain-free and hypoallergenic lines. My dog has sensitive skin and does great on their salmon recipe.

3

S Steve 2 months ago

Absolutely. Raw food is generally grain-free anyway, but they specifically highlight their hypoallergenic options which is good if your dog has specific protein sensitivities.

What if my dog just hates it? Is their return policy reasonable for raw food?

B Ben Reyes 2 months ago

Since it's perishable, returns are a bit tricky once you've opened it. But if it arrives damaged or something, they're usually good about sorting it out. Best to contact them directly if you have an issue.

Perishable items usually have different return rules. I'd imagine if there's a quality issue or it arrived thawed, they'd help. But for a dog just not liking it, probably not. Maybe try a small variety box first to test the waters.

Anyone know how Rude Dog Food stacks up against like, ProDog Raw or Cotswold Raw? Trying to decide which one to go with.

M Marcus 2 months ago

I've used both Rude Dog and ProDog. Rude Dog feels a bit more, idk, 'human-grade' in terms of ingredients presentation. My dogs like both though.

T Tara Kim 2 months ago

Honestly, it's pretty similar in quality. I think Rude Dog Food's variety boxes are a bit better if you want to try different proteins without committing to huge amounts.
